@somalitography7: In the streets of Hargeisa, a young Feysal’s voice began to be heard. From an early age, the voices of elders, the laughter of children, and the rhythm of daily life all stirred something deep within him. Words became more than speech ,they became music.Born in Laba Nuux, he was educated in the town of Camuud. Afterwards, he tended livestock and taught in primary schools, yet poetry followed him everywhere. Under the open sky, he hummed melodies from the heart of his people. In 1958, his love for music went public at Radio Hargeisa with a local hit known as ‘Subcis’ ,before one of his famous Heedhe Gabadyehey Heedhe, written by Axmed Saleebaan Bide in 1972, brought admiration and gentle love to life across somalia .Even as life led him across regions, Feysal carried his love for music with him. When he passed in 2012, the world lost a voice, but not the music ,the melody endured, whispering of Somali nights and a young man who knew the grace of every word he spoke.
