I loved every second of my playtime on hades 1 but dropped hades 2 10 hours in. I think hades 2 story is very boring and I don’t like the melinoe or the hub area. Hades 1 hub felt warm and welcoming when I finished a run hades 2 I felt dead inside. The Combat and areas aren’t even fun ether.

Both games were AMAZING!!! Hades 2 was better though. I just hated that I couldn't get Athena's shield dash boon til super late lol

I agree 100%. Stoped playing hades 1 a while after beating hades cause it was a real slog to keep playing after that. But hades 2 kept me interested all the way till I found the fates yesterday way way after rolling credits.

Were you in Hades 2 early? I started from the beginning of the early access and played all the content as it was released. Gave me a good appreciation for the evolution of it. Hades 2 is better for me

Hard agree, and the edition of the surface path makes the game soooo much more fluid and diverse. I can actually experience different runs with vastly different builds. The balancing of the gods feels way more reasonable too. The effects dont leave me feeling like I should just go for Zeus or Artemis every run.

hadn't played 2nd one, but 1st hades combat felt like mindless dash and attack spamming with very spongy enemies
