Can confirm that the reason I don't remember it is because I was sleep deprived 🥹 you got this

I’ll be honest with you, one first time parents to another, sleep regressions are a lie. They never end..They just bleed into one another until you’re so tired you kinda feel awake?

My babe skipped the 4 month sleep regression. But the six month sleep regression hit like a wrecking ball

It’ll happen 8 months, 10 months (the worst for us) 18 months then 2-3 years old… we’re in the middle of the 3 years 😭😂

Baby 1 it was like « sleep regression.. where ?!» he slept by 3 months 12-14h stretches and never stopped… enough it tricked us into having baby 2 so quick… for her it was like « sleep regression, do they actually regress from never sleeping?! » it took her 18 months for a SINGLE 8h stretch. Baby 3 definitely felt the 4 month regression 😂

I mean, my older brother was colicky and fussy as a baby and he also put our mom through 10 hours of labor. I on the other hand put mom through maybe an hour of labor (dad literally had to catch me in the hospital room because I decided to come in like a wrecking ball and the doc wasn't even in hospital grounds yet) and was the calmest baby between the two of us. Then somewhere down the line those personalities swapped 🤣 he became the calm/easy child/teen and I became a fussy/angsty child/teen 😂

It’s because they’re either growing teeth or starting to learn some big milestones. Honestly, we only deal with 5-7 days of rough sleep/no naps then we’re fine for like two months. we also moved our son to his own room at 3 months 😬😬 but the apartment we were in I could see him in his crib from my bed and we did it because we bought a house and the new room was going to be farther away so it made the transition easier for us amongst a big move

Months 4 and 5 almost killed me. Terrible. We moved baby into their own room at 4.5 months because she had outgrown her bassinet and she did sleep marginally better and eventually it got better around 6 months. I pray it passes quickly for you- do whatever you have to do to survive!

not sure if this will help you but it helped me... or at least made me feel a little better about the situation. apparently at 4 months your brain goes through the biggest change/development it ever will and this is what causes the "sleep regression"

I know a sleep regression is coming because I'll get a good night sleep maybe if i'm lucky for a couple days in a row then BAM no sleep for 2 weeks 😭

When my nephew was born my brother in law was so tired he heard him crying in the room, looked at the baby monitor of the other kid sleeping soundly and was confused until he remembered he had two kids. Which I witnessed cuz I was doing a late night shift to give the gift of sleep to him

I have 2 daughters 2.5 and 6m they both sleep so so much better once I switched them to their own room! Still only like 3-5 hour stretches! I moved my youngest at 5m

4 month, 6 month, 12 month, 18 month, 24 and 30. There’s a reason they tell us we don’t sleep for the first three years.

My oldest only started sleeping decently at 6 months, my youngest at about 1 year old. It was a nightmare, not great at all, and I don't miss it. My oldest is 16, my youngest 11 and I'm still waiting to feel that retrograde bliss from when they were babies...

I was very lucky that my daughter slept through at seven weeks olds. I was solo parenting and recovering from a terrible birth, so it was an amazing gift. Then when my husband was home full time when she was four months, she regressed hard. He claims it wasn’t that bad…he wasn’t up feeding in the night.
