Hey lovely, I just wanted to reach out because I really do understand how terrifying this is. I had two big surgeries. First a full hysterectomy for my Krukenberg tumours, then CRS and HIPEC. And honestly, I cried so much beforehand I could have filled the Murray River. I was absolutely petrified. Recovery was not simple and it felt like the longest and slowest climb ever. But it did get better. I am getting clear scans now, I am healing, and I am truly grateful I went through with it. At the time I was convinced I would not even survive the paperwork, let alone the actual surgery. I just want you to know you are not alone. I remember that fear right down to my bones, and I wish I could give you the biggest hug. I am here anytime you need someone who really gets it, or someone who can cry and laugh with you at the same time. ♡
