my mom is bipolar and has been on lithium since she was 25 (now 68). she has successfully been weaned off of it by her psych ! her doctor always said she was a model patient. always took her meds, had a job, family. she said she always had survivors guilt for those who didn’t

my dad was prescribed this and refused to take it, my mom would sneak it into his coffee and it made him sooo different. He was chill. then he found out and blew up...she stopped and he changed back 😒

I was put on Lithium when I was pregnant in 2003. It worked wonders and I was monitored at Emory weekly. My daughter was born healthy 10lbs with no issues. I was part of a trial and they published the findings. I’m not bipolar but definitely was during the pregnancy

my roommate was prescribed lithium and wasn't given appropriate dose. she went temporarily blind. we really panicked until the ER figured out what it was and took the appropriate actions 🥲

Does anyone know what happened to Britney Spears? Everyone is saying lithium. None of her posts make sense to me and I’m curious if it’s due to lithium or trauma or what in the world could explain this entire situation. Can lithium make someone go crazy? Or into a dream state psychosis? Idk where I’m going with this but I’m so intrigued to find out what happened in this situation.
