also if you didn't know some of the newer heaters come with bubble levels so I have to be perfectly level for an order for the start they don't like to work a lot

it's about the wires heating up due to the high current, potentially starting a fire if the strip or extension cord is not rated for it. Safer to plug directly into the wall.
