You know what’s even worse, Henry Ford wanted to invest his money that Ford Inc. was making back into his employees, give them higher wages, more benefits etc. The Dodge brothers were partners in Ford at this time and sued him all the way to the Supreme Court and the Supreme Court found in favor of the Dodge brothers that the profits are to benefit the shareholders of the company and not the employees and that has been the way of the land ever since.

Blame france. We were good with the gold syatem because it was valuable. Until France. France started hoarded gold and started buying Gold in exchange for dollars.
