We have a white tree skirt under my sons tree that each year we put his footprint around to watch him grow ( can do hand we did foot as was easier for newborn) will add other children when we have them 🥰

@Adore the label matching Christmas pjs, buying a special Christmas ornament each year and writing on the back the year, light looking, baking cookies/gingerbread, Santa photos, donate to a toy drive and then when the kids get older they will pick out the toys for this too, as a family open 1x gift on Christmas Eve with a movie and snacks before Santa arrives! Having a few hours/night kid free for myself and my partner to spend quality time together, a meal and wrap all the presents and enjoy the life we have created together🤍🎄

I bought an embroided calendar and everyday of December we take a photo on the Polaroid camera and write down the date. Comparing this years to his first Christmas has been so special! 🎅🏻

we get the clear baubles from reject shop & every year we cut ribbon of their height that year and then put the year on the bauble. Then Chrissy Eve we get into our matching pyjamas, bake Chrissy cookies & sip on hot chocolates while watching a Christmas movie with the kids
