regular cats are recommended to have baths either when they need one (like, caked in mud) or once every 6 months because their skin can get really dry with too frequent baths. sphynx cats have no hair and as you said they get oily as hell, so it's recommended to regularly bath them

Normal cats don’t need a bath, but sphinx cats are different. They are recommended to give them baths

Unfortunately I do have to give my girl a bath because she likes to run outside and her hair feels dirty I haven’t bathed yet cause it’s been cold but usually around that 2-3 month mark her hair is absolutely dirty & disgusting

I've never had cats. But I think I would be doing the same. Bathing them at least 2 or 3 times a week. I had a dog and I would bathe him about 3 times a week. He would even let me know he wanted me to bathe him. Ppl that would come visit us didn't even know we had a dog as they said that our house didn't smell like we had one. My dog didn't have that dog smell. I did have ppl give their negative opinion bc I was bathing my dog a lot. But at the end of the day it is our house, our pets and our decision. ❤️
