How did you come up with the idea to learn sign language? If I’m right, you’ve been signing since he was a baby — how did you manage that? When did you have time to learn it? Did you know about deafness before Paxtyn? I’m deaf myself and manage well in life, and I truly admire you for learning to sign for Paxtyn and for trying to communicate in sign language with his little brother as well. Hats off to you! Keep it up!🥰🤟🏻🥹

They did my babies hearing test the day after birth she was admitted into nicu for respiratory issues and possible infection they gave her a medicine and told me she needed her to pass another hearing test because due to medication she couldve lost her hearing . Also they can do hearing test if the baby is awake and calm they dont need to be sleeping its preferred but just as long as its quiet and the baby stays still they can perform it . I was told by the dr any time they do any procedure or medicine they need to perform hearing test again becauselots of babies go dead after these issues do you think that was your sons case ? Or you think he was dead since birth ? I was also told that before leaving the hospital 2 total even if you have to return to outpatient .

My son has bilateral sensorineural hearing loss. It’s genetic, although no one else in our family has hearing loss (that we know of, since so many are undiagnosed.) Do you know the cause of Paxtyn’s?

I have a question I saw that another creator has a deaf child so at minimum they have a silent day where no one the other kids and mom and dad do NOT talk at all ONLY sign. Do you or will you be doing this as well asking cuz you didn’t talk in the video but signed so it made me think of that other family and if you will have a silent day. Hope you guys are well! ❤️🙏😁

Patient is thumb out and making a cross with it on your other shoulder! & honestly the complications at birth can be a factor. I couldn’t breathe when I was born & they had to laser skin off my throat. Then my parents found out when I was 18 months. No one knows why but every audiologist had said because of complications at birth.

My daughter is genetically deaf from her dads side they’re partially deaf but I didn’t get an answer for her till she was 4 she’s completely deaf no aid would benefit her it was a horrible 4 years. Audiology tests every 4 weeks for no reason cuz they wouldn’t progress her! The specialist said she should’ve been diagnosed at 9mnths 😔 🥰
