@caseysykesfit: Sometimes the body can’t squat all the way down if the body/bar isn’t in the right position. Everyone’s build is different. #workout #GymTok #bodybuilding #arnold #legworkout
Have you seen Phil Heath's squat depth when he does the 20 rep sets with 315 on the smith machine?

Going more than 90 degrees when squatting destroys your knees.

Steve Maher :
As long as you’re progressively getting stronger, you could do quarter squats and build decent legs. Forcing people into a squat pattern that doesn’t fit their biomechanics is why so many end up with injuries.

Arnie has admitted recently in an interview he never squatted and found them uncomfortable being tall. He did it just for the camera and states it’s just wasn’t necessary for him.

That’s 405 pounds. He’s squatting. Those are four plates on each side. Pass a 90° angle with your knees. There’s no reason to do that way for injury. Which is exactly what he is doing. He was extremely strong in his prime.

In this particular case he has his feet closer together and pointing straight. Don’t know why you blurred out the bottom.

Cricizing anyone’s form is silly. Everyone is different. This obviously worked for Arnold.

Arnold did what worked best for him. If anyone doesn't like it let him show you his 7 Olympias. And if he had wanted he could have won for 10 in a row easy.

He didn’t want turnip thighs. The look back then was big legs but keeping the hip area as small as possible. Guys nowadays have dinosaur lower halves

This includes the bench press. Taller weight lifters go deeper than shorter builders.

I say this ALOT & I’m 6’2 but can do the same amount of weight and reps BUT moral of the story, everybody’s body is different. If you’re tall it’s harder go all the way down verses someone who’s 5’6-5’9
