Issue is that it's both LEDs AND height adjustment, not just mutually exclusive. If you need that intensity of light to drive, you shouldn't.

It wouldn’t be as bad if they weren’t ultra bright white if they were like a 2K yellow, maybe like a 3K yellow it wouldn’t be as harsh on your eyes. It would still be bright, but it wouldn’t be as bothersome.

If you have a harbor freight in your city, their flashlights are pretty good & high lumen, some are a little expensive but a great solution!! (I’ve been in similar situations lol) like the ones in the ss attached
