@thecarmenvera: This scene breaks me every single time. At the end of the film, Dracula makes the ultimate sacrifice, not out of weakness, but out of love. He knows it has to end this way. He knows that by sacrificing himself, he’s giving Elisabeta peace. Immortality meant nothing without her soul being free. And he chose her freedom over his forever. It’s so human. So romantic. So devastating. Sometimes we love someone enough to let go even when it ruins us. Sometimes we have to give up the good thing… because it’s the right thing. 🫠 “When you know you know.” 🥲 They both knew. It was inevitable. But their love was eternal. That last kiss was a goodbye and a forever at the same time. And yeah, I cried. I need the second part. Where Elizabetha denied the God and yearning for Dracula for 100 years. Then, they meet again and become vampires again. And the ending is where they're living happily in their castle. Also she will have to live without him for at least 50 years, yearning.
