This is the problem I have with these types of prayers: They say things like "I rebuke this" or "I confront that" but you aren't actually confronting or rebuking. Instead, if you are going to "pray" in this way, perhaps it would be more useful to actually rebuke the spirit by speaking to it directly as if it's a person with bad behavior. Explain the behavior you dislike and how it is ungodly, then quote scripture that backs up what you are saying. Truly rebuke and confront it.
