And also. This is why we need special ed in mainstream school. We hid them away before. Just the fact that a kid went to school with special ed kids just sharing space. Not even being in the same classroom it’s so so important to see at a young age that a variety of people exist, they are not something to be ashamed of or to be scared of. Not everyone had to be perfect in every interaction but to just be nice and accepting that others not like us exist??? HUGE.
