@vasaiko_us1: "Don’t Gamble with Family Lives! 🔴 CO Detector—Your First Line of Defense Against Invisible Threats"#SaveLives #SafetyFirst #MustHaveProduct #DontRiskIt #HomeSafetyHacks
I would not trust this thing at all. It looks like junk. If you have to put the lighter up that close for it to detect it, it's junk rural carbon monoxide detectors would be able to pick that up without the lighter that close to it
Carbon monoxide detectors are great but make sure this detector has been tested by UL or some other independent company.

Yes carbon dioxide is silent and can be deadly especially if we don’t breathe it out

The problem is it should be installed higher up. Most household wall plugs are below knee level. Not sure how effective this is.

If you have any gas appliances you need a carbon MONOXIDE censor. Ours saved our lives..no kidding. And get the kind that’s connected to a security service (Vivint, for example).

Carbon monoxide is silent and hard to detect, that device is also pretty silent and the sound is hard to detect

The video mentions both carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide. Those are two different gases.

CO detectors are installed low as the gas stays low

90% of all homes in the United States have CO2 detectors built into the fire detectors 🤔 but I really don't find myself barbecuing indoors much 🤣

Is that detector to code? I thought smoke detectors were always mounted on ceilings and carbon monoxide detectors mounted low.

My woodstove keeps tripping off my detector, besides my old house is so drafty the air flow would carry away the monoxide!

Doesn’t carbon monoxide gas rise and fill a room from the top down? Genuinely curious. If so plug them up high on the walls. Not on the floor or it may be too late by the time it goes off. Nice looking item
