So I made this Tonkatsu Nanban at home—so crispy, zesty, and easy to prepare using CDO Premium Tonkatsu. @cdofoodsphere In under 20 minutes, you can have an impressive dish that’s restaurant level good. Try this at home! INGREDIENTS: Tonkatsu - 1-2 packs of CDO Premium Tonkatsu Tartare sauce: - 1 cup Japanese mayo - 4 boiled eggs, chopped - 1/2 onion, minced - 1 tbsp Dijon mustard - 1/4 cup Spring onions - 1/3 cup baby Dill pickles/cornichons, chopped - 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce - salt and pepper to taste glaze: - 1/2 cup Rice vinegar - 1/4 cup Soy sauce - 1/3 cup Ketchup - 1/2 cup Sugar - 1 tbsp Garlic minced - 1/4 cup Mirin *measurements are estimates. taste and adjust w/ your ❤️ Others: - Cabbage, shredded INSTRUCTIONS: - Start by making your tartare sauce by combining all ingredients in a large bowl, and mixing together. Refrigerate this until it’s time to serve. - Then for the glaze, add your ingredients into a pan with heat turned to low, and whisk until your sugar is fully dissolved and sauce is reduced. - Lastly, for the meat, fry your pack of CDO Premium Tonkatsu at 165C for 5-6 minutes, or until golden brown. Brush this with your Glaze and slice into strips. - Serve on a hot bed of rice with shredded cabbage and your tartare sauce and enjoy! - @jujumaoo
