i told my kid about trauma because it exist and i told him the wisdom behind it. im one of the fighter and i protect my son by healing myself and get help from experts. i told my kid, im fighting for u so that you can have the best in life. he knows the darkness exist and there is always ways to confront, handle it and i showed him how to be brave!

I think we can share all of these things with our kids but we should not let these reasons be the cause we misbehave with our kids or let them down instead if we just let them know about all of them and show them we can live a happy meaningful life inspite all of that
