Not to mention, which book isn’t getting a movie/tv tie-in cover? Even if the show wasn’t a hit, there would still have been an increase in book sales regardless.

I hear you! I was trying to express that when a publisher does realize they have a massive hit on their hands, printer schedules don’t allow for immediate reprints. That doesn’t excuse for them not meeting demand previously, it only exacerbates it now. Harlequin knows they’re missing out, and so are all their partners down the line. It sucks all the way around.

yeah harlequin always failed this series in terms of in-store distribution. even when they decided not to finish with the mmps and publish them all in trade paperbacks instead, they didnt do anything to try and get them in stores

Oh, please. The publishers know any reasonably popular book, that is getting an adaptation, is going to be fire. The really blew this one. Pardon the expression. 🙄
