nobita went back to past is the reason no one looking for him. when he return home to the past, the "other" nobita is actually on the island. probably

Nagato Yuki :

morning niche community

JC :

How did nobita managed to open the coconut?

Zandro :

so in the other world Nobita parents die waiting waiting on Nobita?

raiven :

That means the other Nobita is still stuck on the island, and couldn’t Doraemon have just time-traveled in the first place—like traveling back to before Nobita left? And if he couldn’t stop him, like what we saw when Nobita scared him with the toy rat, he could have just secretly followed Nobita to the island. Then, when Nobita finally regretted his decision, Doraemon could have shown up and brought him home. It’s a plot hole and kind of dark, because that means the other Nobita is still stuck on the island, and the older Nobita who time-traveled with Doraemon is basically a replacement.

i love chicken :

deym, so nobita is over 20 years old in mind 😭

Raging banana :

So nobita was immortal all along?

Zezyzhujikop :

this made me cry 😭

OddDuckk :

couldn't doraemon just go to the past the day nobita ran away, silently follow him and see where he end up, go back to the present and save him?

(BELL)!-_- :

does that mean in 10 years he was gone in his village that means nobita's future has change
