We aren't communist, I've had to say this again and again. We are socdem at the absolute most. Our government does work however and it is one of the few areas of India I'd genuinely recommend visiting. however, a lot of the progress can also be attributed to increased influence from the rest of the world and the presence of true religious unity, low infighting and the catholic Church.
