So you need a transcendental God in order to have knowledge

Alex :
I believe that reality is fundamentally coherent and truth is meaningful. Logical contradiction cannot exist, so anything illogical is meaningless. Only what actually exists carries real meaning, though hypotheticals and possibilities may guide reasoning. Human minds can, in principle, grasp any truth if it is articulated well and the mind is sufficiently trained.

Science is based on the idea that anything we can observe has a naturalistic explanation. Empiricism and theology are two completely separate epistemologies, which means science can't prove or disprove the existence of gods. That’s not a limitation, it’s just not what science is built for. However, the snag for theists is that if someone makes an objective metaphysical knowledge claim eg. "there’s a god who created all things and sits in judgement of our thoughts, words and deeds", then that falls under the umbrella of empiricism, and you're therefore required to provide objective justification.

Ayin 🔑🌙 :
I mean, sure but the form of empiricism that you presented is justified by something prior to knowledge: the physical world that you can experience; for eg. they could say "I know that if I drop a pen, the pen will fall to the ground; knowledge is found in empiricism" and that notion, to them, derives from experience of the physical world, but the physical world is prior to experience and foundational for it; therefore their empiricism is justified by the very physical world that they experience.

empiricism isn't the belief that all knowledge is perceptual, that would be a subset of empiricism called nominalism-sensualism. There are empiricist schools of thought which hold the validity of reason and concepts, just built upon direct sense perception
