@abbys.apron: Another cozy chicken pot pie dish for you 🥧🥕🫶🏼 Ingredients - 2 chicken breast (I used 3 but I think 2 is plenty) - 1 cup orzo - 2 cups chicken broth - 2 tbsp flour - 1/2 white onion - 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed veggies (I used a pea and carrot blend) - 2 tbsp butter - parmesan cheese - garlic powder - salt & pepper - oregano Tenderize and season chicken breast with salt & pepper, then cook in a pan and set aside in a large bowl. Dice up the onion and saute with oil and butter for 2-3 minutes before adding frozen veggies. Add flour to the pan and mix until flour is combined. Add orzo, chicken broth, garlic powder, pepper and oregano and mix before covering and letting it simmer for 10 minutes, or until most of the liquid is absorbed. While the orzo is cooking, shred chicken in a bowl. Once orzo is done, mix in your chicken. Top with fresh parmesan cheese before serving! #simplerecipe #cooking #healthymeals #dinner #food
