I saw all the nasty comments about your dog. Our previous yorkie had a similar injury. Full panel blood work came back abnormal. We had to take him to OSU Vet Hospital for more testing (Ohio). His protein level was extremely low and he could have actually died during surgery. He wasn't producing enough protein. He was put on a high protein diet and after several weeks he had surgery. Hang in there. Hopefully they have him on an inflammatory med while you wait. He was diagnosed with Lymphangiectasia. He has since passed years ago. You're doing the correct thing 💞💞

my son's dog which is his emotional support animal, got diagnosed with kidney cancer at the end of June. they said she would only have about 2 months to live if her kidney and the 8cm tumor wasn't removed. August 13th she had her left kidney and tumor removed and she's now cancer free. we just had her 3 month ultrasound to make sure nothing has came back.
