I get it’s the law but that seems so crazy to me. Kids sometimes need phones for security reasons, and you’re the one paying their phone bills. I’m in Canada and we could have ours taken until the end of the day, but that’s it.

Oh absolutely not. Unless they are paying those 11 days of bills. We got our phones taken away during school but our parents had to come pick them up end of day

In my school if you get caught on your phone, you have to pay €20 and if you don’t you have to do two hours of detention and if you don’t do that, you get suspended

i thought they had to return it after the end of the day or have a parent retrieve it. i don’t think they can actually keep it indefinitely

Omg where I’m from and being a teacher we 100% can’t keep their phone. We can take it, bring it to the office and the kid gets it at the end of the day
