a number of higher end toy manufacturers claim that they are using such a high quality ("platinum cure") silicone and that it's alledgedly not prone to being dissolved by silicone lubes but I do not know how much to trust that

I found out that I'm allergic to all water-based lubricants. They cause me to break out in a horrible blistering rash. I don't how many doctors and tests I had done and no one could tell me what was wrong. I had to figure it out all by myself. Silicone lubricant is the only kind I can use without any issues.

I am a fan of a hybrid lube- simply wicked hybrid is a good one. And it has olive leaf extract to help with micro tearing

a number of doctors recommend against using oil, especially in the V since it can alledgedly trap bacteria/protozoa and make this more prone to infection, often with grape seed or coconut as the exceptions but some drs still caution against it
