8/31 Euthanasia List: #A2088487 Sarina, 5Y, Female, HW+, 45lbs Sarina came into the shelter after being abandoned in a backyard with 10 other dogs. She came in looking like crap with saggy nips, tail tucked, dermatitis all over, and I think her perfect behavior shows that the shelter is the best place she’s ever been. She was looking so sad in her kennel but from the moment I saw her I fell in love with her eyes. Something about them are really beautiful and they just seem like they have so much life left in them compared to the rest of her body. but did a big stretch to greet me. She gave me a soft and low wag in her kennel with her tail as I stepped in to hang out with her. She is sooooooo itchy and started to whimper the more she scratched ☹️ Granted I met her over three weeks ago so her skin could look and feel a lot better by now. When I stopped her from itching she came over to me and placed her head in my arms and I just sat there for the longest time petting her waxy fur. She then put her head down on my leg and was enjoying it so much she even got a little snaggletooth action. She is so deprived of love that I think I made her week by just sitting with her for as long as I could. She’s a really wonderful dog and I think has a pure soul. BARC Animal Shelter 3300 Carr St I cannot always monitor comments and messages. Please visit the links in my bio if you are local and can adopt or foster! Fosters must be local and the shelter cannot assist with out of state offers. You can adopt being from anywhere but must be at the shelter physically to do so. Pledges toward 501c3 rescue are appreciated! Do not honor pledges unless you get a comment/message from this account. I am a volunteer and do not make decisions for the shelter. I only post the dogs that I meet and photograph personally. #dogmom #dogsoftiktok #adoptdontshop #shelterdog
