Tbh i believe that the real moral of the story (the one that no one wants to see) is that it is not our responsibility to save people who don’t want to be saved dedicating our entire life to someone else hoping that they will change or improve by totally losing ourselves, we often stick to people’s potential and ignore what they really are, that’s exactly what jae oh and jun seo did (in two different forms) and in the end they are both dead. that’s a lesson.
