I skipped Thanksgiving this year bc I just don’t enjoy cooking and cleaning for days for one meal. I don’t regret it at all. I love Halloween and Christmas, so it was a nice break in between. Think I’ll skip it every year from now on 😏

I feel like so many have lost or misunderstood the reason why we celebrate Christmas. It’s not about gifts and chaos. It is about our Lord and Savior’s birth. Nothing else matters. 😞

You are not the only one that feels this way! Every perimenopausal women is with you. Can we just check out for the next 5 years and come back as if nothing ever happened? Like, can we let this phase happen and when it’s done forget it ever existed?

just get the Jesus part right and Christmas is all year long. without all the expectations of consumerism. i quit cold turkey 5 years ago.
