The Latinos working for ICE are like the black overseer during slavery. The overseer panders to the slave owner because they believe the slave loves them more than other black enslaved people. The owner makes them feel like that even though they feel the same about him as the other enslaved people. The overseer would be just as mean as the slave owner. The slave owner use them because the overseers lives with them and would tell the slave owner if the others tried to learn to read or plan an escape.
