There is no one to choose but myself. The person who I cared for is not real. I wouldn't be surprised if she did try and come back acting like nothing happened. It would confirm that she never bothered to get to know me outside of the parts she could weaponize. I could deal with everything she is except for her plan to hurt me so bad that I would be stuck confused and broken. But no human could possibly do what she did unless something else was in play. A simple Google search of unusual cruelty in an unexpected breakup without explanation. NPD. The answer that explained everything. I am now a self taught expert on NPD and how emotion, control and supply without little to no empathy. I am completely out gunned in an emotional struggle. So I surrender and wish her the best of luck. She is going to need it. I don't even have to worry about her missing me so what's the point? I'm good.
