OK I need to make more of these but the recipe doesn’t make enough lol I ate most of them myself instead of giving them out for Christmas in my boxes of Christmas cookies. haha. I know I can’t just double the ingredients to make more so do you have a recipe for a larger batch or should I just do it twice.

oh you have no idea what you just did for me! I am trying to make all the cookies my mom used to make for Christmas and this was the one recipe I couldn't find I'm making cincinnati, the anise,her fried bows and I wanted to make these but couldn't find a recipe that I felt was like hers! i did something wrong and i’m not sure what. everything seemed right till i tried to roll them and they kept separating as if there was air inside. and they didn’t change shape at all when they baked. i expected them to kind of grow a little any experienced bakers have a clue what i might have done wrong ?
