in milwaukee (where i lived when he was first drafted) he's known as a very kind and helpful man. there was a news story about him going to a pick and save that was blocks away from fiserv (& where i lived at the time) and an old woman asked if he could help her grab something and after wards she was interviewed and she was like oh no i didn't know who he was but he was tall! he could reach the top shelf! and she didn't find out until she went to the check out. and this is not an isolated story. he really is kind and humble in a way that most professional athletes aren't

In 2017 I was working in the floral department at the Whole Foods in Milwaukee. Giannis came in with his mom that Valentine’s Day to get flowers and a card for his girlfriend (who he’s married to now) and I remember him being so kind.
