There is definitely a lot of shame and judgement around credit card debt, unfortunately for a lot of people it’s what you have to do to survive. I literally opened a credit card this summer to pay for my prescriptions 😭 and an $11k ER visit

I have some credit card debt after 2 years of supporting my partner through law school and I'm so stressed out trying to pay it, even with us both making money now. It really lessened the excitement of us both making money now. But seeing others in similar situations has really made me feel less alone in this capitalistic hellscape.
