@kellydinham: This trend, but with rescue animals! 🐑❤️ Meet The Doctor. 6 years ago, The Doctor was living on the run in Australian bushland, where he had been for many years. After being rescued by Edgar's Mission and arriving at the sanctuary, an incredible 21kg of fleece was shorn off him. 😳 Sheep originate from the wild mouflon, an animal that would naturally shed their fleece. However, sheep now require at least annual shearing for their welfare. This is a direct result of human selective breeding for wool that is cut from the animals, often in brutal ways in commercial shearing sheds. Please consider making kinder choices and avoid animal products! 🙏🌱 #tiktokpartner #animalrescue #friendsnotfood 🎥 Kelly Dinham / Edgar's Mission
