@blairhorton: When I saw this at the grocery store I was SO excited because hibiscus is one of my all time favorite teas. Sorrel is the Jamaican/ Caribbean name for the type of hibiscus that is used for hibiscus tea (Hibiscus sabdariffa plant or Roselle). This is actually the calyx and not the flower itself. It’s very crunchy and almost cabbage like, so it would be a fun pop of tartness in a salad. It is most commonly used in the Caribbean to make Sorrel, which is also a name for a drink that they make at Christmas!
