To think the negative comments toward this Father from so many people not walking in his shoes and to think that this child River is in this state sadly because of his brain trauma but his dad tries his best that he can do what normal people do in everyday life the only difference is that River can’t because his impediments is in the brain but the people with such negative comments don’t have the impediment nor the brain trauma yet they are so judgemental and so cold towards this dad teaches us that there are people with a far worse trauma and that is of they’re soul….. because only a person with no soul can speak so negative towards him……so God bless this Dad with His Peace, Strengthen him most of all with resilience because no one is in his everyday fight journey that he chooses to walk with HOPE for his son 🤍✝️🙏Amen !

if God didn't give up on him, why should his father? He's not connected to any machines and breathing on his own. Even though he's unable to communicate vocally doesn't mean he doesn't feel the love of his family. Let's not be judgemental and allow his father to be an awesome dad.

I only see a caring dad fighting for his son’s recovery and trying anybway to get funds to help him. I would honestly do the same if I were in his position. Bio mum was very wrong “abandoning” her kid. There is always hope and medicine is improving faster than ever. Perhaps somewhere sometime there is something that will help River. Dad is a calm person it seems, that works with his inner self a lot to live and resist, thats why he might look weird for some people. So happy that River doesn't have to lay in an institution without all the love and physical therapy that he's getting at home. It is what it is, but I give the father and step mother credit for trying to do what they can for River and always trying to stay on the positive side of life.
