THE FROZEN EGGS! GOOD CATCH! Also, annoyed they don’t ask about their ‘biological imperative’

Jocelyn :
I love this show but I’m starting to get a little irritated with the pacing. We got a 15 minute poker scene and I’m willing to bet the season finale will end on a cliff hanger. It’s going soooo slow just to keep us waiting

Ainzee :
This episode made me feel so terribly for Carol (and Manousos). Regular loneliness is bad enough, but I can’t imagine how it would feel to be seemingly rejected by the entire world. I hope those two can form a friendship of some kind.

omg I felt so bad for Carol. I've had that same feeling. like an outcast. there's literally 11 other real people on earth and they still don't want her around. I relate to Carol a lot 😭

Beatrice the Anti-Plastic Lady :
I absolutely loved how Diabaté was so mesmerized by Carol eating breakfast- and then began to mimic her! And he was absolutely shocked how little she cared for the car she drove… it said so much about where he came from and how he has emulated and idolized American culture…

I’m surprised she hasn’t made them shorten or get rid of the answering machine message yet.

We need to talk about how manipulative them brining Manousos’ mom into it, the whole way they delivered that line like they couldn’t tell he hated her

Rosey :
People talking about how nonviolent the hive is like they didn’t forcibly take over the entire planet and knowingly let nearly 1 billion die to achieve their goal. The show is absolutely going to interrogate what our definition of violence is in general. We see this in life all the time. Shooting someone is violence, but denying someone dying of cancer isnt? No, they are both violence, but one is direct.

I’m getting so frustrated. Each episode keeps making the audience like the hive mind more and more but I’m holding strong. #TeamCarol

Remember the first scene where the hive has to play poker / an character, we know the hive mind is always happy but at the end of the poker roleplay where the hive pics the glasses up, they look like they’re annoyed

🌼Honeysuckle🌼 :
This episode was really excellent for showing the ominous nature that lies beneath the surface of the hive’s constant smiles. The scene where they were cleaning up after the poker party, and then Manousos’s mother walking out of the shadows—-so unsettling & haunting.

Still no clue where all the babies, toddlers, pregnant women, cats & dogs are. 😳 And it doesn't mean they are dead. But where are they?

If they can eat fallen fruits why can’t they eat naturally deceased animals? There’s got to be thousands of them a day as well

I dont get why the 11 have zoom calls and Carol doesnt have internet. why didnt she just email o post those videos somehow? I get the paraguayan being isolated with no tec, but why carol has no access?

I felt so bad for Carol 😭 she’s feeling the most absolute loneliness and going through one of the worst griefs a human can go through. And omg, I hadn’t realized the stem cells thing in her eggs oh no

Also in addition to the egg thing, they didn’t care about non-consensually spreading the virus to the entire population so once they have the DNA or whatever needed, who’s to say they won’t spread it to Carol without her permission
