Whe I did my trailer bearings I found the bearing had two outer race options. One had more meat on it for a bigger o.d. And that’s what I had to use. Maybe it’s something like that.

I feel like the only way to solve a problem like this one.. you place that entire assembly on a shelf and you order from a machine shop to have them make the assembly that picks up the bearing... like a custom piece.. and then when that part comes in you take it off your shelf and you put it all together... in the meantime, you can work on another project..
