Orange Creamsicle Bars 🍊🍨 This definitely my favorite no-bake recipe for the summer! ☀️ (recipe makes an 8x8 pan) Crust: 1⅓ cups nilla wafer crumbs (finely crushed) 5 tbsp (70g) melted butter Cream Cheese Filling: 12 oz cream cheese, room temp ¾ cup (90g) powdered sugar 1 tsp vanilla 1¼ cups cool whip (not frozen) *put the cool whip in the fridge ahead of time to thaw Orange Filling: 1 (3 oz) packet orange jello ¾ cup boiling water 2 tbsp fresh orange juice 1 tbsp orange zest ⅓ of the cream cheese filling 1¾ cups cool whip (not frozen) + orange slices and whipped cream for topping *in total you’ll be using 1 container (8oz) cool whip Instructions: Mix the nilla wafer crumbs with melted butter. Press into a parchment lined 8x8 pan. Set aside. Dissolve Jello in boiling water. Cool completely to room temp (not warm at all). While that cools, make the cream cheese layer. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until completely smooth. Fold in cool whip until combined and fluffy. Spread ⅔ of this filling over the crust, reserving ⅓ for the orange filling. Stir orange juice & zest into the completely cooled jello/water mixture. Mix in the remaining cream cheese filling. Mix in cool whip. Pour the orange filling over the cream cheese layer. Chill for at least 8 hours or overnight to set. Top the chilled bars with whipped cream and orange slices. Enjoy! #nobakerecipe #orangecreamsicle #Recipe #summerrecipe #orangecream
