You can’t rlly blame her, if you grew up learning abt only the horrors Durin did, you would possibly act the same way. If Marjorie doesn’t know Durin like Traveler does, this is pretty reasonable. Remember how they acted abt Dvalin during the first quest, I’m sure if Dvalin was brought up now they would possibly associate him with the most recent events.

It’s a generation trauma, you must’ve forgotten that durin has killed many many people. hearing the name “ durin “ is basically a trauma response from what happened. Especially from the tales they hear and from their ancestors. It’s a very valid reaction. but yes, i feel bad for durin too. but keep in mind that their reaction is very valid.
