@greatestmusiccomposer: The Jussen brothers returned to the Konzerthaus Dortmund with the Münchner Philharmoniker and Tugan Sokhiev. From the opening bars of Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture, through the fireworks of Poulenc’s Concerto for Two Pianos, to the climax of Tchaikovsky’s Fourth Symphony, there was a rare sense that the hall, orchestra and audience were breathing in unison. I had the opportunity to ask the brothers about their most unforgettable moment at the Konzerthaus Dortmund – the kind of concert that still comes up in stories years later – and how they prepare for such occasions.
