The phone checks after 14-15 are unnecessary, you pay for the phone. Take the phone for about 2-3 weeks excluding during school hours and have a conversation about boundaries and what is and isn’t allowed. Going through it is insane after that.

I 100% believe teens should have phone privacy. (Some of yall sound controlling and weird) HOWEVER if said child is giving the adult reason after reason, the parent should check it. It’s their job to keep you safe and if you feel like your child isn’t doing the right thing then unlock that phone!!
