These kids have been taught to depend on tech like a pacifier they never got weaned from. They will destroy everything around them, melt down in public, and generally act like the feral children they have been raised to be if it's taken away. They need the fear of real consequences young put in them to be better humans. Not beatings like we took but a reason not to keep doing it.
