@maxwell_finn: Never ask someone to get married before you take them on a date… And never overload your quiz funnel with heavy questions before you’ve built a relationship with the lead first. So many quizzes that I see out there are built completely backwards. They ask for personal information before any type of relationship exists. No trust. No context. No reason for the customer to feel safe. And then blast people with long-form, super personal questions on the very first interaction. Not because it gets the customer any closer to achieving their desired outcome. But because you want to qualify them. If you're going to ask someone to share personal details, you need to justify every single question. Explain the purpose. Explain the benefit. Explain why this matters for their outcome. The best quizzes don’t just collect data. They create and reinforce belief. They pre-sell. They pre-frame. They guide people down different paths with intention. If the quiz is only for qualification, strip it down to the bare minimum. If it’s meant to influence buying behavior, support it with reasoning and stats that build confidence.
