she doesn't even want revenge but she just feels she's gone too far and needs something to put the blame on, she NEEDS something to justify all this pain, both the one she's suffered and the one she made others suffer from. and she needs a way to also deem herself worthy, show Tommy that she isnt a failure because she feels deep down that Tommy getting crippled, Jesse getting killed and Joel being tortured and killed was all her fault, she let that happen just because of her incompetence and impulsivity and Abby is just a scapegoat to channel all of this madness. Ellie knows that killing Abby won't solve anything but she is on the brink of snapping and she is too afraid to take a leap and move on. instead she chose to keep marching on her path for revenge chasing whatever little shattered pieces of reason this conflict had left.
