They made me so angry once trying to put me in a 40B when I was a 34DD. The lady was so condescending. She wouldn’t let me try the size I wanted until I tried hers and showed her how badly it fit. Then when I asked her to bring me the size I wanted in the first place she looked at me like I was delusional but at least I got to wipe the smug look off her face when I showed her much better it fit

I went in yesterday thinking I needed a 36C which is what I've been wearing all these years and walked out with a 36D because I was spilling out of the top.

I should be a 34ddd but budget bra companies don't carry it and I can no longer afford buying online from boutique designers that do carry it. I'm lucky enough that I can do sister sizing and wear a 36dd but they never fit quite as well as the proper size.

When Victoria secret measures me they either get a 32B or 34C when I measure myself it comes out to a 30C

their bands are also way stretchier than a normal bra. they only have a few bands in my size (30) but they stretch so much it fits like a 32

I completely agree! Thanks for sharing my comment with your knowledge as well!! I used to measure both above and below especially with bigger sizes, I would always send people to other stores if we didn’t have their size which I know alot of other VS employees wouldn’t do, another HUGE piece of bra sizing is the actual style.

It’s why for 10 years I couldn’t figure out why my straps always fell off my shoulders. Eventually I was measured at a real shop and I was a 34FF UK. I think that’s about a 34H US.

I have always thought I was a 38b. The band is always tight on me. I measured myself and did the calculations and turns out I need to try a 36c.
