I use the free hank green “focus friend” app! You have a bean that knits socks while you are off your phone and can use them to buy decorations for his house. It’s enough dopamine and reward to encourage me to stay off of my phone.

I definitely recommend using screenzen app as a way to block apps as well too. I’ve now gone over 200 days without open my social media more than the allotted time. But your portal idea is a good idea too!
