People are misunderstanding the comment. It wasn’t about race, it was about a sun tan that developed darker on his knees. It was describing the tan, not his ethnicity. It can look like dirty knees when a white persons tan is darker on certain areas..

So I didn’t know about the Sophie lark but I had her whole birthright series and weirdly when rearranging my books hers were the only ones that grew mold. The universe was looking out for me lol. I threw away all the books.
