Uh !! - playing around with model theory here is my humble contribution from what I’ve found. The Ikigai exists in several versions. The old jap way and the more modern western way. Its not the same. As I remember the old jap method was much more simple like harmoni in the chinese ying/yang. Maybe its a good idea to investigate the terms before use. There are other models like the STD Hedgehog and PERMA models. However non of them made real sence to me. So i went a different way and what I found was - meta cognition. This is by far the most difficult thing - manifestation of a thought that grows into trees of thinking and at a point gives a clear path through life as in “my way not your way vice verse” we are all different and have different path to walk. The initial thought as spoked about in the interview is so Extreme hard to come up with even with models like Ikigai or some of the other ways. I am working with these methods and other models only as a challange to see if its possible to actually figure out a better life or even a life (in case we get stuck). Sometimes circumstances gives the answar - like in a destoyed city. To survive we need food and water. The path is the necessary path. But in calm invironments with lots of options it easy to lose direction. This interview is really great because to me it shows how he manage to keep focus in a storm of distractions…
